Alright took a chance on this release with some reservations. (Not really into the early 70's sound) But as a Disney (music) slave had to get this. I actually find the score quite delightful, thought a bit simplistic in it's orchestration. There's a nice variety of melodies present on the disc. (But that damn harmonica!) The sound quality is nothing short of magnificent. In the end very happy with this release.
That's great you picked this up and are enjoying it. I love the Main Title and the Flying Camper cue.
I think I'm annoying my spouse with how much I play this, lol.

I remember loving this score when I watched the movie growing up in the late 80s. Thank you Intrada for preserving yet another childhood memory of happiness.
The motif (theme) that plays at the end of the Main Title, in the Close Shave and Uncle Lucas, and then in the End Title (some moments in between, too) is like my childhood in music form. Innocence, wonder, dazzlement, delight, all of it. Such a wonderful score.
