I'm so excited that I'll be going to the Oscars for the 2nd time with one of my dear dear friends who quite possibly is the nicest guy I've ever met. Those of you who are friends of me on Facebook, you can check out all my pics and video that I'll be posting throughout the show so you can get an inside look at the show and behind the scenes and fun!

Off to lunch at Boston Market with Edwin and then getting in my tux smile

Just kidding. Have a ball buddy!

I know were dmd is
please sing this song
all you people in l.a.

1. Let me tell you the story
Of a man named drivingmissdaisy
On a tragic and fateful day
He put ten cents in his pocket,
Kissed his wife and family
Went to ride on the MTA
drivingmissdaisy handed in his dime
At the Kendall Square Station
And he changed for Jamaica Plain
When he got there the conductor told him,
"One more nickel."
drivingmissdaisy could not get off that train.

Chorus:
Did he ever return,
No he never returned
And his fate is still unlearn'd
He may ride forever
'neath the streets of Hollywood'
He's the man who never returned.

2. Now all night long
drivingmissdaisy rides through the tunnels
Saying, "What will become of me?
How can I afford to see
My sister in Chelsea
Or my cousin in Roxbury?"

drivingmissdaisy 's wife goes down
To the Scollay Square station
Every day at quarter past two
And through the open window
She hands drivingmissdaisy a sandwich
As the train comes rumblin' through.
Chorus:
3. As his train rolled on
Through Greater Hollywood'
Charlie looked around and sighed,
"Well, I'm sore and disgusted
And I'm absolutely busted;
I guess this is my last long ride."

Now you citizens of Hollywood',
Don't you think it's a scandal
That the people have to pay and pay
Vote for Antonio Villaraigosa
And fight the fare increase
Get poor drivingmissdaisy off the MTA.

Chorus:
Or else he'll never return,
No he'll never return
And his fate will be unlearned
He may ride forever
'neath the streets of Hollywood'
He's the man (Who's the man)
He's the man (Oh, the man)
He's the man who never returned.

The show was just great! It's funny, but when you are there the time flies by so darn quick. Marshall and I had a lot of fun and even though it was raining when we pulled up the umbrella holders and car people could not have been ANY kinder to everyone even though they were all cold and wet. Ed Begley Jr. came on his BICYCLE. I snapped a photo and posted that on my Facebook page. TOO funny. I managed to meet all the Best Score nominees. Really enjoyed my quick chat with Zimmer, he's just a cool cat! Gary Yershon could not have been any kinder and Desplat was beyond words so sincere.

I really had a level of pride as I told them I work at Varese and while working there my life long passion is soundtracks. I've never had much to any pride in any of my past jobs until I went to Varese and started working. The history of that company and the amount of respect I have for them, I take my job there VERY seriously and I'm trying to help them in any way I can and especially with the fan out reach which seems to be working. Varese is a company, but behind that is a neat company with some great employees and I'm only one of them. There are people behind that funky little reindeer who day in and day out and doing their best to get us what we want, COOL soundtracks!

It was cool to walk by Clint Eastwood and I snapped a photo with the actor from BOYHOOD. I briefly met Ethan Hawke and saw John Stamos. Talked with Richard Kraft and his sweetie Darrah Belle! As we were leaving we saw John Landis and Marshall knows him quite well so they chatted very briefly. I told Marshall, you know some PEOPLE.

I met Miles Teller from WHIPLASH which was my favorite film of last year so it was cool out of all the films I had a brief moment to say hi to him and that we put out the WHIPLASH soundtrack. THAT was cool! I got a quick photo with him. He's taller than me and I'm about 6'1. NICE guy.

OH yah, I met one of my favorite actors for a VARIETY of reasons, Chris "Captain America" Evans. He was so awesome and kind. I had to get a quick photo of us just so I could enjoy it for years to come.

The Oscars if you are there is everything you think it is, it truly is magical and insanely awesome. This was my 2nd time and it was JUST as cool. OK back to The Bande to work on a few projects that I think you kiddies may enjoy smile

Oh yah, we hit In And Out which is tradition for us after the big show!
