Back in the 70's Paramount had their own record label where they could release Movie Soundtracks from their films.

3 Paramount movies that came out in 1973 - 1974 were SERPICO, BANG THE DRUM SLOWLY and THE EDUCATION OF SONNY CARSON. They all shared a similar design in their soundtrack releases on LP Album. SERPICO and CARSON had sort of solarized style artwork featuring the main stars of the films. While BANG THE DRUM SLOWLY had a grainy photo of it's two stars running together. Both SERPICO and BANG had a nice arrangement of still photo shots from the movies on their back covers. CARSON only had one photo on back.

I liked this style. A nice way to put out Soundtracks back then.

Can you recall any other Paramount Soundtracks in this style?

1969's THE ITALIAN JOB had sort of a precursor to those later covers, with stylized portraits in a circle.

I don't think this design was so much Paramount Records' doing, as it was the record company following the key art on the films' posters:
