Hello, guys, I came in this place to discuss about this topic and know people's opinions. I have a dream, let's call it that, because so far it's kinda unreachable - I wish there was a full Animaniacs soundtrack boxset with all the marvelous scores of the show, and all the songs. It could be expensive and huge.. but there's been huge boxsets by FSM, why not one of Animaniacs, or the composer in general? His scores were wonderful and quite pleasant to listen and they've never been released to the public. I'd be quite a homage if their soundtracks finally got released and someone got in consideration. I'd so spend all my lifesavings on that.... Tell me guys what do you think? Could it be possible? Is it a unreachable dream? If it COULD be possible how'd you do it, and where would you get the source for the discs? Discuss your opinions and stuff.

Welcome to the board PonyoBellanote. I see you are a new member as of today. Hope you do not bring up the want for a MLP Boxset. Some of the Animaniacs music (Stone, Bernstein and Goodwin) would be good to have, but I do not believe a box set would sell.

There were other composers involved besides the late Richard Stone, if I recall, but I'd buy a set in the (let's face it) extremely unlikely event one came out - Tiny Toon Adventures had scores by more recognisable names in fan circles (Bruce Broughton, Morton Stevens, Dennis McCarthy, Arthur B. Rubinstein, Don Davis, Joel McNeely, John Debney) and we've yet to get one for that show...

She did a segment of one of the eisodes, but the score was not used. I don't recall the episode name at the moment. (July 1, 2012) While working on Vol 2 a number of episodes of the first "65" got the axe and will be featured on Vol 3: Robin's Reckoning Parts 1 and 2, Day of the Samurai and The Clock King to name a few. Our plan is to have Vol 3 out next year (possibly another 4 disc set). That would be all the music we would release from the first 65. We are also contemplating releasing an empty box when vol 3 comes out so people can put all 3 volumes inside. It would be like $5 (or around there) if people wanted to buy it separately or free with purchase of Vol 3...something like that. Then we would focus on the "Adventures of Batman and Robin" and "The New Batman Adventures." Hopefully, Superman TAS, Justice League (TAS and Unlimited) and the two BTAS animated direct to DVD movies (Subzero and Batwoman) will also see the light of day in the next few years. This is some of the finest music written for television. It's been a joy and honor to bring these out and we hope to continue to mine this incredible slate of superhero music. We are also looking into stuff like Animaniacs and Tiny Toons. The ealry 90's was truly the 2nd Golden Age of Animation at Warners Bros. We are doing our part to preserve that legacy. MV

Thanks for reposting that quote, Justin. Count me in for one or two double-disc volumes from LLL.

It's nice that La-La-Land showed interest in scores for other cartoons of the 90s of Warner. However I don't see this happening any soon.. at least, Animaniacs or Tiny Toons. Tiny Toons and Animaniacs, are, not only hard to put in box sets (due to their music being synced to the visuals, and licensing of music, and lots of good scores would have to pass and not get a release due to how they are.) but also I don't believe they'd really sell. It's too much effort for nothing. LLL works too much and their things barely sell, if they aren't DC or some other HARDCORE WANTED score.. The film music score market is niche enough, the cartoon music, even way more.. I really want it too but don't see it happening for a lot of reasons.. I hope I'm wrong, and I hope it sells well if that happens..
