Yeah, that whole period in TV history--roughly 1965-75 is my favorite. Not only do you get the up-and-comers of future series and films, but the reliable character actors who each have dozens of credits. Plus, there's the Golden Age-era actor or supporting actor who made the rounds on TV, as well. By the time of the second half of the '80s, many of those familiar faces of the previous decades were working far less, especially the women, who usually found the going even tougher after hitting thirty or forty, or found themselves a rich husband to take them away from all that Hollywood madness. But yes, the '65-'75 era is a special one to me.
