I'm fascinated by the fact that MUSIC cements WORDS into our memory banks.
We can all recall the words to very old songs, even if we never liked the songs!
For example, the old TV sitcom, Car 54, Where Are You? was broadcast weekly between 1961 and 1963, when I was between the ages of 9 and 11 years old. And yet today, at age 62, I can still recall that corny old theme song!

THERE'S A HOLD-UP IN THE BRONX,
BROOKLYN'S BROKEN OUT IN FIGHTS;
THERE'S A TRAFFIC JAM IN HARLEM
THAT'S BACKED UP TO JACKSON HEIGHTS;
THERE'S A MOTHER LOST HER CHILD,
KHRUSHCHEV'S DUE AT IDLEWILD!
CAR 54, WHERE ARE YOU?

What's the strangest, most obscure tune YOU can recall, thanks to the power of music?

"It's Marine Boy,
Brave and Free!
Fighting evil 'neath the sea.
He is a boy, a very special boy
Powered by propeller shoes, flying Sub ahoy!
Whooshing through the water on a friendly dolphin's back
Racing to the rescue of victims of attack.
In a flash, he'll foil the foe
With a quick boomerang throw!
Loyal friend of the sea to the end
Is our Marine Boy."
Doo doo doo doo doo etc.
