Oh don't worry Jacky, I'm a three time loser too....

HOWEVER.

The caveat was to buy $149.75 (thereabout) of TT Blu Product before
shipping to get a copy.

DiabolikDVD.com seems to have a bare bones type blu, all region, that I saw
at their site last night, maybe take a look into that, I know I'm planning to.

Your not the only one, I thought at 5000 copies this time around I had time to purchase as well!

Plenty of copies in other regions you can buy for under $20 shipped. Some are even region-free.

If they do not have the Brad Fiedel isolated score than it is pointless and worthless at the same time to mention this here on this forum that is specially created for soundtrack fanatics.
by the way where these also autographed??

The Blu Ray wasn't "specially created for soundtrack fanatics" though, neither was the movie. Hey, I bought the Intrada CD when it was released and to be honest...can't recall the last time I listened to it. Actually it may even have been sold or traded away. Can't remember.

The movie is the thing. I'd like to have it on Blu Ray. TT's disc was always a bit too pricey and the f*cking thing sold out each time before most folks who wanted it were even aware of it.

Any of the imported discs will do. They don't feature the extras the TT 30th anniversary disc did but, so it goes.

In no way is it pointless or worthless.

It has the isolated score/ Soundtrack that is why i only want to go for the Twilight Time edition, if i wanted to know more about other (to me uninteresting) editions without the score isolated i will visit and post on other sites!
And another thing...........................you must have missed the Smillie!

The score is released complete on the intrada CD. If you want to overspend on the TT edition just for the isolated score option, it's your choice but presuming you are located in the Netherlands, you'd pay more than double for importing that blu-ray as opposed to going to the nearest mediamarkt and picking up the barebones release (same transfer, better cover art). I think I saw it priced at 15 euro last time I went to a MM. It's under 10 euro at amazon.de & bol.com

These editions might be uninteresting to you, I'm personally relieved Christine & Fright Night got an affordable blu-ray release over here. And don't get me wrong, an isolated score feature is cool, but if I own the CD already it's not that big of a deal.

Also, on these titles you have a lot of speculators who buy up as many copies as they can to sell on ebay (sounds familiar to soundtrack fans? wink). Once the hype quiets down, you might still be able to find one with the isolated score for an affordable price.

OK, if the selling point for you IS the isolated score, understood. smile

I agree TT's release history of this title has been...frustrating.

But maybe it'll show Sony that a wide release would sell enough to make it worth the investment!
