MovieScore Media just posted this to Facebook, for release on March 24th. The blu-ray has the score as a bonus feature, but I'll pick this up. It's a fun score for a fun movie.

Very excited to get this. The film is a blast in the same way TREMORS was 25 years ago, great humor, big heart, and really well-done CG creatures. The score was very good, very tuneful, thematic and enjoyable. I believe it was credited to the London Chamber Symphony, no? Thanks Movie Score Media, as always, for holding a candle to the quality, under-the-radar works that exits in the world. It's so inspiring to hear great music being written elsewhere as Hollywood scores become progressively less interesting all-around.

The film is a blast in the same way TREMORS was 25 years ago I describe it as an Irish TREMORS when I'm recommending it to people.

I would encourage everyone to see this film. Over the past few years, it is the film that has surprised me the most. I assumed it was going to be a substandard horror film. Instead, I found it to be funny and sweet and scary. My wife does not do horror films, but she liked this. A significant part of this enjoyment comes from the score. Christian Henson nails the tone of the film and creates a tuneful score that works well on its own, including moments of horror, romance, sci-fi, heroism, and impish humor. Although the movie knowingly includes nods to other films, it still seems fresh and original. It would seem difficult to not like this film and score. Enjoy!
