There is a guy who sells soundtracks at the Scandinavian Sci-Fi, Game and Film Convention and I have bought a few of them through the years. One soundtrack that he has that I have not seen anywhere else is Harald Kloser`s Marlene. The soundtrack in question includes a lot of songs but there are selections from the score. I think it has some 15 minutes or so by Kloser. I was wondering if anyone here at this board is familiar with this soundtrack? I have several times almost bought it but since it is only about 15 minutes (estimated guess) I have been always deciding for some other instead but I might buy it next time...or not.

So should I buy it or not?

I was able to finally get this CD from a store sale for just $1.

I don't mind the interpolation of songs and score, even the understandable predominion of the songs over the score, but what I really regret very much is that they haven't included on the album the greatest of all score parts -- the opening of the film, which has a dramatic full-orchestra fanfare-like composition.

Otherwise, I think it's an enjoyable album.
