So young.

Underrated version of what has become since an oft-told story...

In Elmer's Film Music Collection it was album number 5 (FMC-5), a wonderful recording and still a great rendering of Rozsa in his prime at M-G-M.

The french title is THE VIRGIN QUEEN.

Quite confusing indeed...

I was thinking about all the cinematic/TV women who played that lady ... they often get asked to do it twice, and I'm told Shekhar has a plan to make his a trilogy.

Florence Eldridge
Agnes Moorehead
Dame Flora Robson (twice, and even more on stage)
Bette Davis (twice)
Jean Simmons
Glenda Jackson (twice)
Jane Asher
Jenny Runacre
Miranda Richardson (comedic)
Quentin Crisp (!!!)
Cate Blanchett (twice so far)
Dame Judi Dench
Anne-Marie Duff
Dame Helen Mirren

Probably a ton more. There's a lot of it about.
