In the first one from Walter Scott, Bob wore chain mail only a la 12th Century. In the second he was in this late 14th Century arm stuff, it's called a vambrace, coudiere, and rerebrace with Gothic gauntlet. How do I know this crap? Despite the fact that the flick is set in the 5th. Stylised myth land.
