I ordered my Obsession Cd from them on March 3 or 4 and I still haven't received it. I emailed them a week ago or so to ask what the problem was and got no response.

I have ALWAYS had good service from them and I am sure I will in the future, but I am momentarily disappointed.

And yes, I did give them my order no.

Their service is fine. If you ordered via registered or express service you can get a tracking number to track your package. A lot of packages take time to reach due to harsh winter conditions on the east coast at this time. My own parcel shipped around 2-3rd March is still in transit (and no thanks to USPS for updating its tracking status promptly )

If they haven't shipped your item its most likely not in stock. Other than that email them or call them. They always respond to email queries.

Music Box Records just pressed the last 1,000 copies and received those this week. They were out of stock on OBSESSION for three weeks. That, and continuing bad weather in the east, may be the reasons for a slow delivery from SAE.

SAE sent me two Blu-rays this week, which I had preordered.

at least they didnt send you a sarcastic response like I got about a scratched CD ("I could fix that with my thumb"). Then again, no communication is very ambiguous. Varese are the masters of that strategy- 'if we dont reply, maybe they'll go away.'

I called them once a few years ago about the availability of an item and they were more than gracious. Why not try that?

Yes, and similarly, I contacted them about a problem with a disc very recently, and they immediately sent me a replacement, no questions asked. I've always found them to be excellent in the Customer Service Department.

Hi “Barryfan” – We have no reason not to reply to your email. Did you check to see if you have a spam folder perhaps? If you do not hear from us by all means send the email again if you wish. In regards to Obesssion restocks are due sometime this week.

Yeah, unless you have tried your luck and ordered MARIA or any other Caldera release. More than 1 month after they have started taking orders in and claimed they should have the stock ready around mid August, at the end of august it was made clear that when people started asking about orders and Maria's availability SAE STILL HASN'T ORDERED THE COPIES FROM THE LABEL!
And now... another few weeks later, they still haven't started shipping stock!
Who knows if they at least bothered to finally order the stock until now!

That's more than 1 month now waiting for order to ship although it was supposed to be delivered weeks ago (and comparing it with Music box, which is only other major store carying Caldera CDs and has been shipping copies for over a month now!).

And this is not the first case something like that is happening, but it is pretty much case of every Caldera release, which are always available weeks and weeks later than their original estimation thanks to SAE's current incompetence. I guess they are just way too busy with all those shitty overpriced BDs to care enough for CDs!

I guess I will be better careful next time and will always wait another month to gather enough CDs and always order Caldera CDs somewhere else! I should have them still weeks and weeks before SAE even starts shipping.

I agree - pending is the word, my last order, four items was all pending and never arrived and I cancelled the order.

My previous order, almost $300 worth of twilight time dvds sat around for over a week.
All was in stock, but no one could send the order until I threatened to cancel the order.

Now I want to get the new Sodom and Gomorrah and I am dreading ordering it and waiting with no update.

Over the 50 some orders I have made in the last ten years, only TWO orders were sent shipping confirmation to me.
