I'm actually starting to get excited about this film. As long as it's not as drab or lifeless as Skyfall, I'll be content.
Drab AND lifeless are ideal words for all of Craig's "James Bond" films. I recommend watching the Roger Moore 1979 James Bond epic "Moonraker" instead or indeed any film without Craig.
Good Luck.
I don't come here very often now as some of the people here are really trash.
I appreciate this is just a teaser trailer but, seriously??? To me this trailer sums up eveything that is wrong with the Bond franchise these days; Pretentious, too serious and just plain dull.
!
I'm fascinated by the trailer, with its nod to Fleming's (not Broccoli's) Octopussy, and hope that we're in for a decent story without too many superfluous action scenes thrown in for the hell of it.
I missed the OCTOPUSSY nod unless you are referring to the name "Oberhauser' ? Please advise. I think it is too much to ask that the film not contain " too many superfluous action scenes". TG. Even the generally excellent SKYFALL fell victim to this with the uneccessary double attack on the farmhouse brm

I was probably preconditioned by the release of the name Oberhauser, but it was the idea of Bond apparently being sent to deal with someone who was really just awaiting such an event. Maybe inferring too much, but what the hey.
Still got high hopes for SPECTRE and will go to the cinema inclined to enjoy it, just as I did with Skyfall. But if I happen not to, there'll be another incarnation along in a few years that may take a different direction. That's what happened with the Moore years, for those who found bits of them just too silly.
