I really don't know anything about him, and I don't think he ever did a film score, but he seems to have passed away about a week ago without anyone noticing -- at the ripe old age of 107! Now that's impressive.

He was an orchestrator, who orchestrated of the most famous pieces of film music in history -- the Warsaw Concerto.
