I remember watching the film on video back when just to hear if there was much more score in the film and if any of it was of a dramatic nature (there wasn't). The largely folk/C&W LP had two tracks by Horner, totalling around 5-6 minutes I think (I do have a copy but not to hand). I'd be surprised if there is more than 20 minutes of score in the film. It most resembles his 'on the road' music from A Few Days In Weasel Creek (TV Movie), lively/catchy hill-billy jingle jangle. I'm not sure if a complete score CD is ever likely to surface. I imagine it would best be served as an extra, something akin to Inherit The Wind by Rosenthal on the recent Intrada CD. I'd be happy to see it come out as a two-fer with My Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys, another Horner score (electronic ensemble) that only has about 7 minutes available on the song CD. Any thoughts?

You can't just pick two different movies and hope they get released together; They have to be owned by the same studio. Since The Pursuit Of DB Cooper is owned by Universal and My Heroes Have Always Been Cowboys by MGM, your plan wouldn't work.
You'd need to find another Universal title to pair with Pursuit to get it out.
