I went skydiving once because of the movie Drop Zone. I've only ever been that one time, but I loved it. No, I did not rob a bank and yes, Zimmer's music may have been in my head when I jumped and yes, I had wished that my tandem jump was with Yancy Butler.

I have gone skydiving twice. I went because of the free fall scene from Moonraker. I wish I had seen this movie sooner. I hadn't known of this movie until you made this thread. Once I got a sample of the music I fell in love instantly and rushed to buy the soundtrack.

I am not exaggerating when I say still listen to it at least monthly if not every two weeks. And yes, Yancy Butler as my tandem jumper would have been nice. Watching the movie again this week makes me want to go skydiving again.

I have to ask, was it Too Many Notes, Not Enough Rests in your head as you jumped? Like I said, that moment at 2:02, my God. It's Zimmer in the style I love best from him.

Even with all the movie's shortcomings, there is something very fun about it. It is a fun ride.

What I would love though, is a release of Zimmer's first collaboration with John Badham - Bird On A Wire from 1990.

Amen to that. Totally agree. By the way regarding the Drop Zone CD. For me the best thing abou that soundtrack is actually director John Badham`s liner notes, love it.

I only have the digital version of the score. Can you post pictures of the liner notes?
