THE FOREVER WAR---Channing Tatum stars in this Warner Bros. movie underway based on the sci fi novel about a war between Earth and the alien Taurans. A soldier endures time warps to battle the Taurans as he seeks to reunite with the female soldier he loves. The script is by Jon Spaihts (PROMETHEUS).
BATMAN v SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE---art released of Batman's Batwing.
COOTIES---poster released from the comedy horror movie in which infected cafeteria food turns school kids into ravenous monsters who stalk their teachers. Elijah Wood, Rainn Wilson and Allison Pill star.
JURASSIC WORLD---director Colin Trevorrow said the Tyrannosaurus Rex from the original 1993 movie returns for the sequel, "The T. Rex in this movie is the same T. Rex from JURASSIC PARK. She's been on the island for 22 years. She's still alive. She's a little older, and she's angry.
We took the original design and obviously, technology has changed. So, it’s going to move a little bit differently, but it’ll move differently because it’s older. And we’re giving her some scars, and we're tightening her skin. So she has that feeling of, like, an older Burt Lancaster. And this movie is her UNFORGIVEN."
AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON---Joss Whedon commented on earlier comments by Idris Elba that Loki (Tom Hiddleston) was in the sequel, “Tom is not in the movie… Idris misspoke… twice. We did shoot something and it didn’t play. The movie has so much, is so filled and we didn’t want it to feel overstuffed. I really wanted to have Loki in it but I understood the decision, ‘Now there are too many voices in the chorus.’ At some point the embarrassment of riches is actually embarrassing.”

FEAR THE WALKING DEAD---Elizabeth Rodriguez (ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK) has joined the zombie spinoff series cast in an undisclosed role.
ROOTS---A&E/History/Lifetime miniseries remake of the 1977 ABC miniseries based on the Alex Haley book. LeVar Burton, who starred in the original, is a co-producer.
CAT'S CRADLE---tv series underway based on the Kurt Vonnegut novel about a substance called ice-nine that turns water into a solid state.
AMERICAN CRIME STORY: THE PEOPLE V. OJ SIMPSON---Jordana Brewster (FURIOUS 7) will play Denise Brown, Nicole Brown Simpson's sister.
AMERICAN HORROR STORY: HOTEL---Angela Basset is returning for the new season.
CUBED---Lionsgate remake of the 1997 Canadian sci fi movie CUBE is underway. The original movie had seven strangers trapped in a series of booby-trapped rooms that they must escape from and determine who put them there.
THE RUNAROUND---new comedy movie starring JK Simmons and Emile Hirsch in which a globe-trotting man drops in to visit his daughter in Los Angeles and teams up with her ex-boyfriend to find her after she mysteriously vanishes.
MIRACLE FROM HEAVEN---Jennifer Garner stars in this movie based on the novel about a girl, afflicted with a rare disorder, who is miraculously cured after she survives a serious accident.
STOWAWAY---horror movie underway based on Nordic mythology in which a newly-engaged woman on a yacht discovers a deadly family secret on the ocean floor: a humanoid monster. Marcus Nispel (FRIDAY THE 13TH) is the director.
MAYDAY---tv series underway based on the comic book.
