I saw this TV movie yesterday on my mission to see as many Levay-films as possible.
This must be one of his best scores. The score is used extensively through the whole film, with long extended scenes without dialogue, just music. The "flashback/love theme" is brilliant, it could almost have been a hit single like Jan Hammer's Crockett's Theme had there been any justice in the world, and the rest of the score is very powerful with lots of electric guitars, synths and even a great-sounding flute. Some of the action music had clear elements of Hot Shots, which he did the same year. A soundtrack album for this would have really worked.
Nice. As with all of Levay's stuff, I'm interested (not 'interested as in I'm going to watch the film'-interested, but interested to hear it on a regular soundtrack).
