Roger says

I'm posting clues a day early beacuse we might reveal one title a littler earlier and I didn't want to encroach on those that like the clue game. For those that don't like the clue game...why are you reading this?

Okay, one title comes from the dead center of the 90s and is a massive epic sci-fi score now expanded to fill two CDs. Interestingly the score was recorded twice, once in London and then again in the US. The program on the CD was taken from the London sessions that weren't even in the film.

The second title is a gem. Coming from the dead center of the 80s, it's been a particular crusade for me to restore this beauty because the original LP program's mix did not include a lot of sweeters - timpani, triangle, xylophone, harp, etc. Not to mention all that great unreleased music! It's all here, greatly expanded on this 2-CD set.

Maybe JUDGE DREDD for the first one?

CONAN looks a lock for the second.

An expanded RETURN TO OZ would be great, never was crazy about the mastering of the old release anyway... Fingers crossed!

If one is Judge Dredd, I'll be a very, very happy man. One kick-ass score. smile

Oo, I hope it is Judge Dredd, the clues seem to tick all the boxes. I love the album, which packs quite a punch, but it would be great to have the original score as well. I really like the film, great looking Blu-ray (I didn't care for it at the time, but it's grown on me over the years).

That's interesting, regardless of what the first title is. Couldn't get the rights somehow to the U.S. one? Weird.

I think Roger meant "The program on the 1995 CD was taken from the London sessions that weren't even in the film".

So in my mind, the 2 CD set will propose both recordings, the English one and the American one.

I read it as "the OST only included the non-film version," not that this will only include that version.

That makes way more sense, as yeah, Dredd was Sinfonia Of London on the album.

Yes, that is how I interpreted it as well.

Re-reading Rogers clues, it could be just the score (as in the film), if so, great, lots of music, & if you don't mind secondhand you can buy the album from Amazon Marketplace for next to nothing.
