I've been on over 50 cruises, and I just got off the Quantum of the Seas (Royal) on May 2.

At least while I am still working, cruising is the only way to truly get away from the stress of the office.

My favorite line is Celebrity, and my favorite port is Bermuda.

Donna, what was Quantum like?

Did it offer Solace?

Ask me again next November when I get back from my very first cruise -- TCM on Disney to the Cayman Islands. Don't know yet who the movie people will be or what films they'll bring with them.

The Quantum is a great ship; she is very high tech and the SeaPlex on Deck 15 can keep you entertained for hours. Bumper cars, trapeze classes, basketball, arcade, roller blading.

Entertainment was fabulous. They presented the entire Broadway version of Mama Mia, complete with intermission. Sonic Odysessy, Mo8iac concert, Bionic bartenders..and SOLACE! LOL!

I don't say this for many ships, but this one is perfect for ALL ages. As Quantum is on her way to China, I await her sister The Anthem, who arrives in NJ this November.

BTW, I am not a travel agent nor do I work for RCCL; just someone who appreciates a well-deserved vacation!

Enjoy!

For those of you who cringe at the POSEIDON clip, here's a clip from a REAL-LIFE wave situation onboard a cruise ship. Yikes!

Wow, that was really weird watching that.

Like, there's no camera movement whatsoever, no tilting, the entire room doesn't move.... only the stuff not fixed in place moves.

It's like watching a poltergeist in action.
