2CD set will be released on July 10th.
So far not much to report otherwise.

It's been a disappointment that the first music in the movie, the Disney Logo-to-Mr. Potato Head stickup music has had the Disney logo portion chopped off for the high definition release.

I hope it is included intact on this release. The score was a big reason for the success of this movie, in my opinion.

Of course it will be intact on this release. But yeah, that was a travesty, and is every time a studio puts their modern logo on an older movie.

July 10th? A friday?

They are starting a worldwide release date of Friday instead of our traditional Tuesday. This is to prevent piracy, I guess??

No I am usually drunk by Noon on Friday so it doesn't work well with my schedule.

That's as good a reason as any. wink

I guess the mainstream labels aren't working as hard if they're still sober enough to release at the end of the week.

Looks like it will include the complete score. Good. I'm pleasantly surprised to see the instrumental version of You've Got a Friend in Me on that list. Cool.

Interesting as the series progresses the artwork looks more and more "on model", compared to say the Little Mermaid cover.

Wow, this looks amazing. No combined cues here!

I wonder if disc 1 will have the album versions of the songs or the film versions. "You've Got A Friend In Me" is pretty close to the album, but "Strange Things" and "I Will Go Sailing No More" are quite different in the film.
