This score is now 25 years old. It was one of my first favourite scores, and I find it peculiar that it still is unreleased.

It needs to see the light of day - now!

Any plans? La La Land perhaps?

Intrada?

Perseverance?

I totally agree! The score release is long overdue. This is a fun Hans Zimmer score, with great themes and very good action music. It really needs a release.

Definitely! I want a CD too! Count me in!

Saw the movie on a late night run two nights ago, and it was fun.

Bird on a wire and Cool Runnings is my 2 favourite (unreleased) Zimmer scores. So I totally agree.

Add TOYS and CHICAGO JOE AND THE SHOWGIRL to that list.

Well, at least there are two tracks from CR released...

Is there much music from Toys not on the album?

Hard to imagine nobody's considered it. Maybe it's in the works. (Wasn't that a helpful post?)

And this is just as helpful. How about a release of John Powell and Zimmer's Chill Factor? smile

Yeah, I'm serious.

I don't think Chill Factor is anything close to Bird On A Wire in quality.

I have a CDR of some Chill Factor music by the way...

I have a feeling Zimmer didn't really write much for Chill Factor. I think it was mostly Powell and Jeff Rona, plus Badelt, Zanelli, Levine...

Does Shirley Walker co-composed anything on the titles you are telling ?

CHICAGO JOE is mainly Shirley.
+ she is credited as an orchestrator/conductor on Bird if I remember correctly.

I'm sure I read in a HZ interview that the orchestra for Bird was HUGE, which might make it a costly venture for a label.

I hope someone is doing it though, because it's certainly in my remaining few true grails. Energetic, varied, wonderful early Zimmer and I *really* want it.

May have been a big orchestra, but many key scenes also had a plain synth/guitar soundscape, so it was surely a varied score.

Any comments from La La Land about this?
