Yes, Bear is very much into getting his music out there. He even has his own record label.

Maybe HE is the problem? Certain composers go out of theire way to release their scores. For example, Debney on Fantasy Island(remake) TV series. Others dont seem motivated to unless show wants to release album. Edmund Butt in Britain seems to be one and Bear seems to be another here. Dead Man Walking AMC and Marvel Agents of Shield ABC, two different networks, makes me think the problem lies with the composer. On the other hand the Human Target is hard hard to explain if it is the composer. It's not the composer. Specifically in the case of TWD, Bear has made it very, very clear over the past few years through the numerous social media requests he has gotten that he has tried to release an album and something is standing in the way (very likely AMC preventing him from doing so). Meanwhile AMC has been releasing these stupid pop music albums for TWD. I would imagine Agents of Shield is a similar situation - Marvel and ABC may be standing in the way of him releasing an album. Even Caprica took him a very long time to get the green light to release - he had the album put together and ready to release for years before he was allowed to do so.

Enough fanboy BS The Reason according to all sources has more to do with the complete disinterest of the companies that produce these shows to release score albums. I know that Bear has prepared an album quite sometime of AOS, but due to disinterest on the part of MARVEL and DISNEY it just hasn't happened. This is the same reason that Christopher Lennertz's scores to AGENT CARTER haven't been released as well. In the case of THE WALKING DEAD, the company just is dumb as a stump on this issue and just WON'T RELEASE his scores at this time, this MIGHT CHANGE in the future, but I won't hold my breath. For ANYONE human being to think Bear is standing in the way of these releases is just insane based on his track record of getting his work out there and starting his own label to do that. All good things come to those who wait, in these cases the wait might be a bit longer then expected. Ford A. Thaxton
