Matessino and Bulk are working on it. Bond is doing the notes that will include new interviews with Mr. Debney and Mr. Harlin. Jim Titus is doing the artwork. It's one of my favorite scores and we got vinyl, digital and cd rights. The previous releases were great (especially the Prometheus) but we thought we can add even more coolness to the project by having the fine folks mentioned above do their own take on the material. We are aiming for June 21. Sounds fantastic MV! Will any of the digital releases include PDFs of the liner notes? I would much prefer to have the CD release but I have to admit that the current exchange rate and rise in shipping rates to the UK is making digital releases much more appealing for the foreseeable future.

Yeah, 21 June will be great day ! It is definitelly the best Debney score, absolutelly masterpiece, one of the greatest scores of all time, no doubt. I also wondering about sound in this release comparing to previous ones. I re-read some old threads about "Cutthroat Island" and many people, many years ago discussed about "not the best" sound on Silva/Prometheus, and about much more powerful and bigger sound of music in the movie. Im not audiophile, but after comparision of music in the movie and in old albums, im sure that there is few differences in mix. I made some little comparision - for example in "Main Title-Morgan Ride" in (album time) 2:53 till 3:27, in this moment, in the film mix, drums sounds more on the front orchestra, much more prominent, powerful than in CD releases. Maybe MV can give us some details about new mastering, mixing etc ? It will be great

With Shawshank Redemption coming in a couple of days, and one or two releases coming on the 21st June, will there be any new titles on the 7th June? There was that face book tease about a June release with a classic 39 second theme (or something like that), wasn't there? Indeed there was!

The only thing I really remember the Prometheus set missing was a VERY brief moment that happens right before the actual end credits start. Both the original album and the Prometheus album omit it, but you can hear it in the film. It isn't much, but I hope this new set includes it somewhere. Also, in part of the complete final battle cue, from around 11:55 to 13:16, there is a section of choir that I believe is not in the film version of that section. It does sound better with it, but it would be nice to have a choirless film alternate somewhere. Otherwise, I can't recall anything else really different or missing, but I hope they are able to include those bits if they really are available. Excited to get the new set, and curious about the new liner notes!
