I remember, the first James Horner score I bought was Battle Beyond the Stars. I had never heard of the guy, but was interested in seeing the film. As soon as I heard the theme, I was hooked and became a life long Horner fan.

R.I.P. Mr Horner.

My condolences to you and your family too Charles. 95 is a fantastic age, it's my hope that he enriched your lives that much longer.

My Dad died aged 64 when I was 21 and now, so many years later, there is so much I wish I could ask and talk to him about, yet, I bet there is still a lot you would have liked to have asked and talked about with your Dad.

Charles, my prayers are with you and your family during this time of great loss.

TODAY, I attended the funeral of a very dear friend.
She was only 37 years old, and was killed last week in a tragic automobile accident.
She left her husband, and three young children behind.

LIFE happens.
DEATH happens.

TIME goes on...

My condolences to you and your family Charles. I lost my Dad almost 12 years ago. He passed away 4 days shy of his 86th Birthday. My Mom is now 94 and I treasure every day with her. We are never ready for them to go. Peace and comfort to your Father and to you and yours.

It's quite eerie that it was Charles Thaxton's father who died because it was my own father who got me hooked onto film music. R.I.P.
