In 1990, John Du Prez composed the score for Bullseye!, a comedy starring Michael Caine and Roger Moore. If you ask around, you're likely to be told it's a terrible film, though I happen to enjoy it very much because of its unabashed siliness, Scotland location shooting and the wonderful presence of its two stars. Du Prez's score for the movie recalls his work in another caper film, A Fish Called Wanda, and there's an abundance of lovely melodies and motifs heard throughout: the charming main theme, for synths and percussion, not dissimilar in feel to Wanda's main title music; a slightly whimsical march-like piece for brass and woodwinds; a synthesized suspense/intrigue theme; a hilarious asian-style motif to signal the recurring "attacks" of the korean bidder; and some woodwind/bagpipe music to suit the Scottish locations. Also, like in Wanda, there's some fun use of acoustic and electric guitars.

You can hear a sample of the score, albeit reworked to sound more electronic, right here (bear Caine and Moore's voices for a minute):

Surely somebody else out there must remember this score and would be willing to buy it?
