I was thinking the same thing about Tomorrowland and Jupiter Ascending, but not Jurassic World, because that movie made a lot of money. I really liked Jurassic World, but maybe that's because I always loved dinosaurs. It wasn't nearly as good as Jurassic Park, or the JP score, but I didn't expect it to. I thought it was still a good movie, and a good score. But, I agree with Brandon Brown, "lucky Giacchino for being able to do what he loves". The guy loves what he does, so he could care less probably. Giacchino has done scores for 3 flops: Tomorrowland, Jupiter Ascending, and John Carter. I heard in an interview of Giacchino about John Carter being a flop, that there are still people who say to him "I actually liked the film", and that it will always be available for anyone who wants to see it, or listen to the score. I also liked John Carter, both the movie and the score. I haven't seen Tomorrowland or Jupiter Ascending yet though.

With the amount of money he's going to make on the secondary market payments and royalties for those films. I don't think he's thinking Poor Me One of those movies royalties would most likely be enough for a family of 4 to live off of in the Midwest for DECADES!

Poor Giacchino? Don't you mean poor Marco Beltrami? Having scored The Seventh Son, F4ntastic and Hitman: Agent 47, three of the worst films of the last couple of months.
