It comes from the mid 80s and was previously available only on LP, but now appears in expanded CD format. Interestingly the main theme seems like a trial run for a theme the composer wrote just a few months later for an orchestral score to a blockbuster film that made him an A level composer. The second release is a reissue of an earlier Special Collection release that sold out way too fast. This release is rebuilt from the ground up to offer better fidelity, adds an extra alternate, and slightly modified packaging. I'd find that a little strange. But if someone is a crazy Cat's Eye fan, I would think they'd be rather happy that Intrada is expanding it, rather than it getting a straight LP program reissue, so that might take some of the edge off of the spending pain. I'm starting to think a lot like YOU GUYS! I IMMEDIATELY said to myself it's CAP-1 and Cat's Eye. If these ARE the titles, it'll be the first time EVER that I guessed correctly!
