SPECTRE---photos released of the three new Bond Girls.
Madeleine Swann (Lea Seydoux) is the doctor daughter of an assassin. Lucia Sciarra (Monica Bellucci) is the widow of a murdered mafia leader. Estrella (Stephanie Sigman) is a mystery figure with no information released.
STAR WARS: EPISODE VIII---Benecio Del Toro is reportedly in talks to play the main villain. Joaquin Phoenix was also considered for the role.
ANT-MAN---spoiler alert (see below).
GREMLINS---Chris Columbus commented on the remakes of his two hit scripts, "The stuff that I'm involved with - the GREMLINS and GOONIES reboots, for instance - they would do that without me. So, I'm staying involved just so I can be protective and actually protect what people love about those movies so it doesn't go off track. [This is] a slow process and I don't think it will happen too quickly."
THE FLASH---artwork released showing The Flash's new costume for Season 2.
XENA: WARRIOR PRINCESS---NBC "modern reboot" of the Lucy Lawless tv series is underway with Sam Raimi returning as co-creator/co-producer. A new actress is being sought for the lead role, but Lawless will return for duty in front of and behind the camera.
GAME OF THRONES---fan speculation continued that Jon Snow will return in Season 6 with speculation being that Snow is the son of Rhaegart Targaryen and Lyanna Stark and was born in the Tower of Joy. Season 6 is filming at the Castillo de Zafra in Spain which resembles the book's Tower of Joy. Additional speculation is that Snow will appear in a flashback since the Tower of Joy was torn down before the events of Season 1.
HIGH WIRE ACT---Jon Hamm (MAD MEN) and Rosamund Pike (GONE GIRL) star in this movie about a former diplomat and a female CIA agent who team up to save the diplomat's former colleague from the same group that killed the diplomat's family. The script is by Tony Gilroy (THE BOURNE LEGACY).
THE SWORD IN THE STONE---Walt Disney Pictures live-action remake underway of its 1963 animated movie.

ANT-MAN---director Peyton Reed talked about the movie's alternate ending involving Mitchell Carson (Martin Donovan), “At the end of the movie he gets away and has these Cross particles, and there was a sequence where Ant-Man has an encounter with him. But then for a couple reasons, it felt like maybe we should leave those particles out there. In that original thing, he took Martin Donovan out and got the particles.”
