It's the best place I've found on the net for Williams news. A lot of tidbits sneak under the radar here, but not much escapes JWfan.net. Like this for example. I could be wrong, but I haven't seen that here. It was posted on JWFan last week. I think the same day it was uploaded:
Yes, regardless of what one thinks of the forum, it's a great resource for Williams info and news. It's the only "living" Williams site on the net at the moment.
as well as slagging off the FSM board and myself . They are like a bunch of spoiled kids ... its good to lurk and see some of the mad responses.
Didnt you start by slagging off JWFan though?
Cause and effect dude. If you can have your say about that place here, we can do so there!
No you got it completely wrong I was asking for opinions and I was also giving a view on your tasteless John williams health issues thread .
Most of the people posting here agree with what i said . I will continue to lurk and make my observations and see you argue and act like children amongst yourselves with your unsavoury comments ... so there !! ( and dont call me dude )
Opinions are like assholes, bruv. And you are certainly entitled to yours.
That last statement proves my point about certain JWfan members ( you being one ) and you would not react like this if you had a shred of decency.
God knows what Mr Williams would think of the Health issues thread , and on some of the comments posted by yourself and others .
And this is one of your posts on the health issues thread ....
( picture of a woman crouched on a sand dune )
Boy I'm having a good look at those boobs!
Dear oh dear ...
I urge other FSMers to have a look at this thread and see some of the comments they are uinbelievable !!! There are also some pretty nasty comments about a certain transgendered composer who worked worked with williams .. which the above comment refers too . Nasty.
While I know that I have not been on these forums long enough to have gained a position to make such conjectures, I still can't help but question whether having Stefan act as the JWFan Ambassador to FSM is a good idea...
I wonder. Do you have issues with JWFan as a forum on the whole, or just me?
If so then this would be the second time someone on FSM started a thread here because they didnt like what I had to say there. Funny...
Now you can keep quoting posts from JWFan on this forum in an effort to prove your point. But if you seriously have issues with me, why not talk about it directly, in private?
I'm sure the fine people of FSM have better things to do then read us throwing mud at each other.
If you have anything to say to me, my email is stefancos1977@hotmail.com. Everything you tell me there will be handled in the strictest confidence and none of it will be quoted here.
If I don't hear from you via email then as far as I am concerned this matter is closed.
Is it me or do some of the JW forum members seem pompous ? they seem to argue amongst themselves and now have a dedicated John williams health issues thread !! dear oh dear its bit OTT
What do other people think ? or am i just been a bit tetchy ?
Its just really niggled me ... sorry for the rant!!
Do real world concerns bother you, because this is real world? John is old, he's lived longer than the average male in the US. He's clearly in decline. We've already lost one score because of his decline and it's very likely he won't survive to score any more "Star Wars" films. You're so called rant which really isn't is understandable, especially considering Horner's recent death, but the person who created the thread is among the top John Williams fans on the planet. He is concerned and heartbroken as am I. I've been a Johnny Williams fan for 50+ years ever since I saw his name in the Gilligan's Island credits. I am no stranger to death and I pray John's is still a good ways away.

Joe, I think this is just the kind of crap that people don't want to see here. Probably best kept to the whenwillhedie forum.

No stranger? You sound like you're about to be best mates!
