La-La Land Records will release the a soundtrack album for the CW hit series The Flash. The album features selections from the show’s original music of the first season composed by Blake Neely (Arrow, Supergirl, The Mentalist, Everwood). The soundtrack will be released physically as a 2-CD set on October 16, 2015 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A digital version is expected to be released by WaterTower Music. The Flash is based on the DC Comics character and stars Grant Gustin as scientist Barry Allen who is given the power of super speed that transforms him into the Fastest Man Alive, known as The Flash. Candice Patton, Tom Kavanagh, Danielle Panabaker, Rick Cosnett, Jesse L. Martin and Carlos Valdes are co-starring in the show, which will return for a second season this fall. Very cool to see a new show with good music get a 2 disc set off the bat. LLL comes to the rescue again.
Now with this new The Flash show about (with Mark Hamill reprising his role, no less) I wonder if there might be more of a market for a Volume 2 of Shirley Walker's GREAT music for the 90s show? I know I'd buy it!

Hmmm...
This means not just "some" extras, as original Flash vs Arrow was just 50 min...
But maybe LLL will release ALL tracks from each part (sorry, it was that rare case when I pay all attention to action not music, so I can't say, how much music from both parts was missed from downloadable version  )
In any case, I'll get them together with season 2 (and it's really time to get season 1 from SS).
ps as Yavar, I still waiting for Flash, vol. 2 too - Mrs. Walker music really need to be released!
There would have been a Vol 2 if more folks bought Volume 1!
