Gremlins 2 was at the top of my wishlist, so now that that's out, I'm pretty satisfied. Otherwise I'd love: Child's Play 2 (Revell) Tremors (Folk and Troost) Jaws 2 (Williams) Nightmare on Elm Street/New Nightmare Arachnophobia (Jones) Small Soldiers (Goldsmith) Free Willy (Poledouris)

None. The only definitive soundtrack for me is the original album release, tailored for listening experience (preferably by the composer him or herself). Plenty of completely unreleased scores I'd like to see released, though, but I guess that's not what you're asking for? Henry Mancini would disagree with you. "Because the albums were made up of the most melodic material from each film, a lot of the dramatic music, which is what I really loved to do and really thought I had a feeling for, was left out. ... It may have hurt my reputation as a writer of serious film music. To this day I would love to have an album of some of those scores as they were heard in the films. The albums gave me a reputation, even among producers, as a writer of light comedy and light suspense, and at that time it was not easy for them to think of me for the more dramatic assignments. I did that to myself."

Plenty of completely unreleased scores I'd like to see released, though, but I guess that's not what you're asking for? That's a very black & white statement, Thor. I can think of plenty of orginal album releases that are far from definite. -Black Hawk Down, where most of the score heard in the film, isn't on the album. And a lot of the tracks that are on the album, aren't used in the film -Die Hard with a Vengeance, the original album misses almost all of the major set pieces and what's on the album is far from an enjoyable listening experience -Licence to Kill, a couple of songs and some random score cues. Doesn't feel very definite to me -Sphere, more than half of the score missing. -Tomorrow Never Dies, last third of the score missing -Volcano, feels like someone just picked a couple of tracks at random. There's no narrative what so ever when listening to the score And I could go on. Now, does every score deserve an expanded version? No, of course not. But there are plenty of scores that could benefit from an expanded version
