From what Bruce has been telling us, there are a lot of golden age scores to come in the future. Besides more Victor Young , there are many 20 CF scores he has planned in the next two years. That is great news for me and I hope for you. My holy grail is the very short score from THE GUNFIGHTER. I am sure Bruce will find room for it on a tribute CD to either Alfred Newman, the composer,Henry King, the director, or Gregory Peck, the actor. I never could get into the playing on the Chandos re-recording. I bought this release despite owning the Herrmann at Fox Box as I found Hangover Square to be one of the major highlights of that set and the original performance is a major part of that for me. Chris. I'm not keen on Gamba's Korngold releases, but I've enjoyed his Herrmann recordings.
