First son, Big Rip followed by Middle Rip, Little Rip and Rip the Fourth.

I believe Rip Taylor was his son as well. The bastard child from a torrid Tearable Romance. He just looked really old. Yes, he was the first, Big Rip.

Did Rip Torn name any of his kids Shred?

Are you including the ill-begotten brood from his whirlwind romance with Gale Storm?

It is true though that one of his boyhood friends was a future actor Larry Blyden, whose name originally was Larry Blieden and pronounced "Bleedin" so the two were known in those days as "Torn and Bleedin".

I remember Larry being introduced on one of those games shows as "Blye" den, like the Captain from MUTINY ON THE BOUNTY. But the "Torn and Bleedin" joke is pretty funny!

If my last name was Moss, I'd surely name one of my sons, Pete!

And if my last name was Ticipation, I'd have a daughter called Ann!

I love fun with names. Being a writer sometimes, I have created characters named C. Dick Biggly and a fictional Set Designer named Max Shields.

If you want more funny names I give you Brad Pitt. Yes it is a funny name, because in Swedish pitt means dick. Then we have Joe Dante`s former cinematographer John Hora. Hora is Swedish for Whore.

i read in Cornel wilde's autobiography that on the island set of Beach Red, Rip had a brief affair and was married to one of the warddrobe girls, Mary Tattard. They became Tattard and Torn!

Did actor Slim Pickens or director Buzz Kulik have any kids?

Funny by virtue of the fact it's 100% true. Larry did change his name's spelling and pronunciation when he started his career.
