I love his website and visit often. I wish all composers did something like this.

presumably this is a kray film made by Hollywood money? and has an american angle? in fairness, tom hardy is a very good actor. certainly good at playing psychotic mudering types. he was superb in Peaky Blinders. and thoroughly wacky in Bronson. the trailer is getting relentless showings on uk tv adverts - but that is often a sign the company is spending extra money to get punters through the door to watch a turkey.

Heh. I never knew anything about the real fellows. I only knew the Monty Python "Piranha brothers" sketch.

Surely over two CD's they could have put on more of Burwell's score?.

Surely over two CD's they could have put on more of Burwell's score?. Hopefully a score album is in the works. But yeah, it's a shame the soundtrack only contains three score tracks and that apparently a lot of the songs aren't even in the film. I thought the days of those "Music from and inspired by..." soundtracks were behind us.

Whole score is just 25 minutes, why couldn't this have gone on the 2 CD release? Great to hear it all, anyway. Thanks for the link, James.

At just 25 minutes couldn't a label add the complete score to another unreleased Burwell score. Album was UMG and Universal were distributor of movie in US. Could be one for Intrada?
