Feel free to start a new OTT thread, but people who push the envelope with personal attacks thinly disguised as "all in good fun" will lead to lockdown. Moderating of the thread has been tolerant if ya ask me (not that anybody asks me). I think it's been clearly established that plenty of folks here are able to take a joke and have fun with the thread without making it ugly. If that spirit can be maintained, which it mostly was for a long time, then it's all good. But sometimes people like to see how far they can push the limits for no other reason than to be douchey. Not cool.
The protocols for conduct are clear. Lets not screw up it Again. Absolutely no personal attacks to board members!

David, would it be okay for us to copy and re-post entries from the locked thread, as long as they aren't ones that got the thread in trouble at any point? Otherwise it will just sink into oblivion eventually.
I can't see the point of copying posts from the old thread, it's not exactly research material, more like jokes that were appropriate at that point in time. Let this one fill up naturally, rather than bloating it from the start with replicated content.
Anyway, why couldn't this have been resurrected as something like "FSM Humour" or "Funny Thread Titles"? ... Having the word "Offensive" in the title was always asking for trouble. If people like the abbreviation "OTT", then we could always have a smutty version, e.g. "Orgasmic Thread Titles".
