Favorites? Probably blackberries and raspberries. Love blueberries. Bananas are a staple but I'm not sure I love 'em. Tomatoes and avocados I love.

She looks healthy on it.

I'm sure you're a very regular chap, with that breakfast habit.

I always liked apple, especially as a kid, I ate an apple before sleeping.

Nowadays, I adore blueberries and I can eat 4 to 6 boxes a day.
I recently discovered juices and smoothies: wonderful way to mix fruits and even greens.
My favourite smoothie is green apples and kiwis.
My favorite juice is carrots and cucumbers.

I make a big smoothie for the family about 5 or six mornings a week... Almost always with banana, pear, spinach, chia seeds, Greek yogurt, and frozen strawberries and blueberries. In summer I add fruits like peaches, nectarines, plums, fresh berries. In winter with apple and orange. and pineapple too from time to time. this has been going on for more than a decade, great start to the day.

Also in the last couple of years started making homemade applesauce with whole fruit including skin. I blend with strawberries and NO sugar just like smoothies after cooking and you'd never know there is skin in there.

The key to enjoyable smoothies (which for me must be absolutely smooth) is a first rate blender. If you make a lot of blended things, well worthwhile to invest in a Vitamix.

sounds to me like you should have your own fruit website?

or maybe be the chairman of the Eat More Fruit society?

"Ok, have we ever done How to defend yourself against a man armed with a banana? we havent, have we? We havent done bananas yet!"

(see appropriate Python Self-defence against Fruit sketch on youtube)

Our tree has great apples this year. Nice and tart. And the deer love them.

I concur the Vitamix is the ultimate reference for smoothies.

To produce my juices, I use a Omega slow juicer.

I don't juice, myself. Tried it (but not with that spiffy machine). Can't use up the pulp and stuff well enough after processing, don't want to throw it out, and I try to go with whole food.

Cherries, but probably because the period in which I eat them is usually only a couple of months a year so there's a long time to look forward to them. Otherwise I like grapes, kiwifruit, apples and mandarins.

Now in regards to overeating fruits, don't forget fruits still contain a hefty amount of sugar so while it certainly doesn't hurt to eat lots of them, I personally find balancing them with other food groups is much healthier than having them be the main course.

Juicing is perfect for vegetables or vegetables and fruits.
There are juices that don't fit smoothies.

Freelee created the diet concept of RAW TILL 4, meaning you eat
raw fruits (including smoothie and juice) for breakfast,
raw fruits or veggies for lunch and at 4 PM you cease any raw fruits
and finally you eat a cooked diner composed of starch and veggies.

Seriously? I'm vegetarian, I love fruits and raw veggies, but I could not eat this much.

Hah!

One of my favourites is the avocado, one of my least favourites the tomato.

Avocados are also wonderful even (maybe especially) accompanied by chopped tomatoes, onions, chiles & cilantro. Sorry, Tall Guy, I hope that doesn't put you off your lunch. wink

I'm also a fan of peaches, apricots, plums, cherries, and dates.

Hey - each to their own! I like tomatoes well enough if they're cooked into a more sophisticated dish. Or pizza.

Bananas and cherries. Bananas are considered great heart food, and have more potassium than yogurt.
