The old thread for this score never really got started (and went a bit West after Mr Jack's comment). http://filmscoremonthly.com/board/posts.cfm?threadID=29566&forumID=1&archive=1 Anyway. 11 minutes of score on the Scotti Bros/Cinerama label CD. What we do have is very nice indeed (Sarah's Theme, Snow Dance, Never Talk)...but 11 minutes is a bit rubbish innit. Some of the songs are admittedly okay, even famous ones on there. The score is lush, orchestral, some dreamy synths. Typical Pino. Is there much score missing from the film (I've never seen it...but Mr Jack made it sound good) I imagine Quartet, Intrada or Kritzerland would be a most likely complete score issuer, but Pino ain't a big seller, unless the film is a bit iconic? Thoughts?

bobb, Pino hasn't written another score as brassy and majestic as HERCULES that I know of, but there are scores like Botte Di Natale, iI Mio West and those adventure scores on the Cannon/Silva compilations that flex his muscles a bit more beyond his Herrmannesque thriller style. I vaguely recall Mysteries of the Dark Jungle and Indio having broad adventure music, but they are LP only releases at present.

The 2 or 3 of you in this thread who watched the movie are 2 or 3 more than who saw this absolutely generic movie with me at the theater back when this came out. In retrospect, it's hard to believe something like this was a theatrical release at all!
