I dont know if Glasser winged it every time or what, but aside from his reputation for brash brass, he could produce some effective music. This unreleased score initially reminds me of "Robinson Crusoe on Mars," then "Ben-Hur" at about 1:45 (and sort of similar plot themes in the Glasser movie).
thanks for responding, Charles. Alas, not Viking Babes. My title hints were possibly too esoteric. The score has an occasional melancholy which reminds me of Ronald Stein's "Day the World Ended."
lol, nope, but the last two film titles I mentioned are clues, especially the last one. I think you guys know and are just toying with me. Btw, the world didnt end in that grasshopper flick.
not INVASION USA, that's available on CD. I know there's something generic about Glasser's music that makes it difficult to differentiate one score from another. Another hint - the film was used on MST3K. It's two words, starts with the letter....
