I'm buying the 3D Limited Edition Gift Set. I really enjoyed the film.

I'm buying the 3D Limited Edition Gift Set. I really enjoyed the film.

For the 3D performance and quality yes , not for the acting or the stupid story.

I'll probably get it as I thought it was a fun, undemanding romp and ai especially liked the attack of the flappy flying things on the park guests.

I don't know. The film is a fun romp in and of itself, but it fails on so many levels compared to the first three films (all of which I love dearly). I'll probably wait a bit to see if there will be any more sequels.

No interest, I might give it a view when it turns up on the telly, & then again I hardly buy any new movies, I like the...old stuff.

Certainly not I. Once was enough!

Is it out already? And, if not, when does it come out?

I haven't seen it yet, but I've heard good things. I'll probably get it for the sake of completeness, since I have the other three.

Hi Thor!smileI thought it was a huge improvement over JURASSIC PARK III. I think it redeemed the series. I had no interest after JPIII for another JP film.

Well, as you know, henry, I really like JPIII too, and I obsess over the JP universe in general. So I was SO starved for more films when JURASSIC WORLD came out. It had been 14 friggin' years, after all! Sadly, it did not deliver the JP universe I had fallen in love with, but as an independent monster movie/adventure-type thing, it was fine.

Jurassic Park III is my second favorite. Maybe my first.

I found it to be a somewhat flawed thrill-ride - exactly as the other three were. Will certainly buy.

Well, the first film is one of the best things ever created by Humankind(!), so nothing flawed about it. The second is HUGELY underrated, and the third -- while a bit on the short side -- is a fun ride that pays respect to the existing universe.

Not me. I'm buying a real movie: the recent restoration of Spartacus.

I'll get the standard release, not into the novelty boxsets. Glad the UK version is region free, so I'll import that one.

I`m guardedly looking forward to this. Eventually I`ll snag the regular bluray; not an instantaneous must-buy, but an interest for sure.

Enjoying the Hell out of BBC`s Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norell. Hope they do a second season.

I though JW was the best sequel of the three, but still hugely inferior to the original.
JP1 is the only one I am able to rewatch on a regular basis.
Aside from one tense, exciting sequence (Spielberg must have woke up that day), Lost World is terrible, with a ludicrous, tacked-on ending made purely to get a dino into suburbia!
JP3 feels like a TV movie spin-off. It's enjoyable but slight and also has a terrible rushed ending.
JW was a fun 'no-brain' crowd pleaser, but like most Hollywood fare today, something I instantly forgot and would never watch again, aside from accidently catching a TV showing.

Score-wise, all films have been blessed with great music, from the iconic original, left-turn 2nd score, busy and bright Don Davis effort and MG's thrilling music and recaps.

So NO, I won't be buying JW on DVD.

DVD? Do people still buy them? With so many streaming and on demand services now, they are soon to go the way of car boot sale obscurity. I can't tell you the last time I bought one or the last time someone mentioned to me they bought one.

Aye Thomas, I do still purchase the odd one or two, but the venues have changed.
I picked up a mint copy of Edge Of Tomorrow for £1.50 from the many charity shops that now dominate the streets of Britain.
Or I will shop online at Amazon trade market for cheap copies of films I enjoyed at the cinema like DREDD and KICK-ASS. I still like to see them on my shelf.
Gone are the days of dropping some wedge at HMV for a few weeks' earlier viewing though.

We saw it, we liked it.
Movies nowadays usually have a built in "trilogibility" built into it--even movies that are king of sucky (which this one was not, but I'm just saying). So when they are finally packaged in a trilogy boxset that tends to add to its appeal even more--not to mention that such sets are usually offered at a nicer price.
As I understand it, JW already has more installments planned so I'll probably just wait for this inevitable trilogy box.

Well, we're already past the trilogy point and into 'quadrilogy' status, so that would be another -ology down the road.
