I'm in my 50s(Not going to say WHERE in my 50s, though!), and a few minutes ago for the VERY FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE....I FINALLY ate.............................TWINKIES!!!! Man... dem THANGS AM TASTY!!!!
So, my question to any of you who wish to participate... how old were YOU when you first ate something that everyone else seemingly had been eating for years, but you just never had?
I predict, based on all my other worthless threads I've started, this will die a quick death.
I never had broccoli until maybe my late 20s' or early 30's. Now I love it. When we go to a Chinese buffet, my plate may have some pepper chicken, rice, Lo Mein, but it is loaded with broccoli
( And Twinkies are all well and good, but I prefer the tasty Zinger )
I like Twinkies but they have an odd "metallic" aftertaste I don't like.
Didn't start drinking beer until I was something like 24. (Don't drink anymore though.) Most seem to have their first beer in the mid or late teens. (legality issues aside)
