Spielberg is directing, I for one would love John Williams (if he is selected to score) do the score with some electronic, or chip tune sound.

I absolutely loved the book which repetitively mentioned the Ladyhawke soundtrack.

I have not seen Pixel's yet but did listen to the score, and the track I appreciated the most on the album was the final bonus track titled "Arcaders 82". I would love to see Williams, or whoever is assigned try something similar to this sound.

Any thoughts?

You should listen to Henry Jackman's "Wreck It Ralph" score for more of the same orchestral / chiptunes hybrid stuff that landed him the "Pixels" gig.
