I got behind the curve on this one, with the Jaws remasterings and Dances With Wolves. Now with your confirmation, Amer Zahid, I shall order this one up today. I hope the edit to remove the squeaking door on "Climbing the Mountain" has been left intact. I think it plays better with the edit.

This one is the real deal in hi-def, Williams fans! Those legato arpeggios in the strings at 2:30 of "Resolution and End Title" can finally be heard unhampered! You've never heard John Williams' best-of-the-best like this before! Mike Matessino's Williams re-masters are similarly unbound sonically. I can't wait for Matessino to get a crack at mastering John Williams scores for DSD (or equally potent encoding scheme) at some point... ...though, for all I know, maybe he already has?

Honestly, as I expected, I think the Varese version sounds better than the redbook audio on this one. I know this is not the case, but a lot of times, the DCC and Audio Fidelity releases just sound like the same flat transfers from the early days of CDs, only with a "fancy" design and inflated price tag.
