Off the cuff, I'm going to say Land of the Giants Year 2 (John Williams) and Seven Days (Scott Gilman). Those two are never getting old. Driving, thunderous orchestral power!

Land of the Giants (2) absolutely. Then The Virginian (Faith). There were so many good ones back then. Now...well, there were so many good ones back then...

There are a number of great ones for failed series. A few examples are Caribe with Stacy Keach and The Quest with Kurt Russell and City of Angels with Wayne Rogers. Also Quinn Martin's shows had some pretty propulsive themes.
They sure wrote great music for TV shows back in the 60s and 70s.
My favourite is The Persuaders, followed by Thunderbirds and The Avengers.
A couple of Japanese crime dramas are worth mentioning. Keyhunter (Late 60s to 70s) offers a cool theme. Very 60s feel. G-men 75's soundtrack is probably the best known Japanese TV music from the 70s. Great theme too.
Some good TV music from America too. Decent but not great. Some of the ones I like:
Batman Hawaii Five-O Mission Impossible Police Woman Rockford Files S.W.A.T. The Man From U.N.C.L.E.
Airwolf - Sylvester Levay Miami Vice - Jan Hammer Streethawk - Tangerine Dream Sunset Beach - Tim Truman Chicago Hope - Mark Isham ER - James Newton Howard Raven - Chris Franke I'll Fly Away - WG Snuffy Walden
"Seven Days" shook up the theme a few times, including extending it a little and some changes in the last season. My favorite version is this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FDIIPBTFMdE
