Note for the future: I'm a fan of the old "* previously unreleased" or "** contains previously unreleased material."

Note for the future: I'm a fan of the old "* previously unreleased" or "** contains previously unreleased material." That goes without saying. I don't know why any label would do away with it. It's a huge selling point.

Wow. This is amazing. I just discovered Amazon Prime has all three BTTFs on streaming so I've been working my way through them this week. The Main Title section of BTTF III is just lovely. After the "full speed ahead" of the flash back opening it's just a drink of cool water. Silvestri introduces the love theme right up front and it's beautiful. 1 has some of my favorite tracks, but 3 is probably my favorite score overall.

I ordered this, as well as the other two new releases today. I am not complaining. I am, however, curious about the price of this particular set. What exactly is it that makes this one 5 U.S. Dollars more expensive than the previous Silvestri expansions, such as Predator 2 and The Abyss?

I will probably get flack for it, but I think that the third movie is the best one. I'll take that flack too. I'm sure this was always the case, but looking at them with 46 year old eyes instead of 16 year old ones, BTTF 1 and 2 are really kind of mean-spirited films. Funny, but mean.

Awesome; so glad I never gave in and bought the original release. Varese has been really impressing me this year. For the sake of shipping, I kind of wish the Nightmare box set (which I also ordered) could've been released and shipped along with these, but it's a minor quibble. As far as the movie goes, when I was a kid I didn't like Part III that much, as I was more of a sci-fi kid and thought the old west setting was boring, preferring all the tech in Part II. But as I've gotten older I've come to enjoy Part III more than II, although I still love all three films in the series. Also, the DeLorean looks surprisingly good with whitewalls, aside from sitting a bit too high off the ground. It's very classy. And that retro time circuit was kinda cool-looking, too; especially now that vacuum tubes are back in style.

Once again, every title is different. This business is not black and white. For this one its very simple UMG When doing these kinds of projects you have to pay the original record company a HUGE chunk of change for the rights by buying "finished goods". That means you are paying per unit JUST to the record company for their rights. You also have to pay Universal for the additional tracks, the AFM, SAG (if applicable), publishing and possibly other artist involved. A project like this cost more money than something like Abyss because of all the various parties involved. For the Abyss the only license you have is Fox since no other record company was involved in the original release. MV
