What???!!!! No physical CD release???!!!! You do know it's the 21st Century right? The fact we are getting a digital release is remarkable for an 8 episode limited series. The odd thing is that there is a better chance of a LP release then a CD release from HOLLYWOOD RECORDS given the current market. As far as I'm concerned I'm happy to have any official release of the scores to this series. The album BTW is great! IMHO of course. Ford A. Thaxton

A friend of mine currently writes additional music for Chris on this show, but I know nothing about it. Is it any good? Orchestral? Any solid themes or the like? You do know that you can hear samples of the album on ITUNES, AMAZON,Etc You might wish to play those, I suspect it will answer your question. Ford A. Thaxton

And the reason I prefer physical releases is: "We were unable to process your purchase with your current payment information. Your payment method must be issued by a bank local to the Amazon.com marketplace." If it's a physical release I can buy it from SAE, or buy it through eBay, or through Amazon or an Amazon re-seller. But, instead, I get this shit. And don't talk to me about iTunes. Tons of stuff on iTunes simply isn't available down here in Oz, for no other reason, it seems, than we're not the US. With all respect to Ford, it's fine to say "You do know it's the 21st Century right?" But if it's the 21st Century, why are we still getting this fucking nonsense? Apologies for the profanity, but I've slept badly, and I'm so over people having bright ideas for progress and then only allowing certain people to enjoy it.

SchiffyM wrote: I get that frustration. But the way I see it, last week you didn't have this, and this week you don't have it. Realistically, this was never a likely candidate for a CD release. Not impossible, of course, but not too likely. A download may have made this possible at all. Which means you didn't lose out on something you would otherwise have had. But of course I'm sorry you can't (at present) buy this. A more accurate summation would be: Last week I couldn't get this. This week, I still can't get this, but many other people can. The consolation that I'm no worse off than I was previously pales before the fact that I'm palpably worse off than all residents of the US. And people wonder why there's so much gorram piracy. EDIT: Temporary spelling ability failure, now corrected.
