Saw this film this afternoon. Really enjoyed it partly due to a mesmerisingly strong central performance by Saoirse Ronan. Set in the early 50s it tells the story of a young woman who leaves her home in a remote corner of Ireland for a new life in New York. 105 minutes just sped boy. The film has a score by a name that's new to me, Michael Brook but his music is just perfect for the movie and I suspect may well be a good listen in it's own right.
Anyway, here's the promo from Lakeshore. Just felt this one deserves a little more attention than it's getting.

Thanks for the info about this, Peter Greenhill. I've put this title in my Netflix queue as this film will not be available to see anywhere here where I live. The music sounds wonderful to me as I heard the samples the other day. I lived in Brooklyn for 10 years before moving to Montana, I'm eager to see the film, and Saoirse's performance in it!
