Interesting ! I am pretty certain this hasn't aired yet. I'd like to hear what he contributes, and hope the music is allowed to shine

Any news on a soundtrack release of this? I love the clips I'm hearing on Youtube. Still haven't seen the series, though.

(btw, it was an interview with me that he broke the news about this assignment...which I'm kinda proud of).

You can clearly hear what's Moroder and what's Raney Shockne.

Why is there no soundtrack album for this yet?

Why is there no soundtrack album for this yet?

I can think of one possible reason...

And what would that be?

And what would that be?

Shall we say, a dearth of demand. The curse of the niche hobbyist, alas. As a fan of orchestral film scores, I am well acquainted with the problem.

Another thing: So, you are saying that Giorgio Moroder is still alive? Who knew?

I guess Giorgio himself in the first place, I met him some time ago here in Holland and he is extremely nice and still unbelievable eager to make new musicprojects at his age of....I think 75 now! wink

Cheap shot, Dana.

I do believe there's great demand for this, as Moroder has enjoyed somewhat of a renaissance over the last decade.

This would have been a great soundtrack. The SoundCloud tracks previously mentioned, plus a few more.

Sorry, I couldn't afford anything more expensive... I'm glad the man is still with us, truly, though I don't care much for his music. And I hope you get your soundtrack release. Just foolin' around. Us orchestral music fans stay pretty much in an ornery mood these days.

Listening to the promo of this now (FINALLY released) and it's just as good as I expected from the earlier clips. Definitely a major soundtrack highlight of the year, even if -- sadly -- it won't qualify for any annual lists, since it's a 2016 series.

Is it correct that it runs for 70 minutes?

I guess that means it will be a double vinyl release.
