Well, how are we suppose to react to this one, with shock? Doesn't surprise me, as many actors are shits in real life, self-absorbed narcissists who only think of their careers. The article says he has tattoos. Oh, who could it be? I hesitate to speculate, as that actor's fans might come out of the woodwork to bite my head off. Best to just let it go and make sure you're not having sex with a famous movie actor.
I like the rationale for not telling so his "acting genius" isnt lost in a health scandal.
He could have his sex partners contacted anonymously, but I suppose the prostitutes wouldnt be informed unless his name goes public. Fortunately none of this is my business and I dont care.

Certainly been a while since I've thought of Charlie Sheen as an A-Lister. Regardless, HIV isn't the same as AIDS and the articles are very definitely saying HIV not AIDS. [EDIT I was referring to the original subject which had AIDS not HIV]
He was the first name that came to mind before seeing any of this crap. And just because he was a once upon a time A-list film star won't stop the media singling him out as an A-list star.

makes sense, but I have to wonder if he considers himself an actor genius. And he's weathered the bad publicity over his drug past, so he's no stranger to it. Hard to know which way he'd react to this.
Isn't this a "rag magazine" like the National Enquirer? Besides even if it's true, it's probably true of many in the Hollywood, music and sports arena.
It's a bit of a non-story really. I'm sure there's a lot of stars putting it about (& why not!). And there's a lot of people walking around with some form of STD, any woman who doesn't insist on condoms being used has only herself to blame.
Scurrilous, gossipy stuff really... but inevitable. Mea culpa too, I guess. All assuming the story is true at all.
Anyway, if it's the person I think it is (not previously mentioned here), it's a shame - from most accounts he's one of the good guys. Nevertheless, HIV/AIDS is treatable these days. Not the death sentence it was. So he's got a very good chance of living a relatively normal life.
The publicity bullshit machine, however, is another matter.
