hi im new here, i have just watched Documenteur by Agnes Varda it is very nice movie, but i need help!!

George Delerue is nominated as composer, yet i can find little further information about the score.. there is a song toward the end.. at minute 56:01 (to be exact, it then stops for a bit and resumes at around 58:01)

upon googling i have found that the only song that can be attributed to the movie is Documenteur : Pour Agnã. S in a box set called Le Cinema De Georges Delerue.. there is no sample of the song though.. so i cant be sure.. Does anyone have this box set/know of this song?

it is a few simple chords but it has me hooked!

Oh, where to start and stop in such a listing?

Delerue has written some of the most gorgeous themes in the world, but there is ONE frustration, and that is this: he was never very good at writing suspense music, IMO. It's often grating and repetitive. That's why, even in some of my favourites scores like AGNES OF GOD or BLACK ROBE -- both of which explore the "religious" sound I love so much -- there are segments that are very rough listening. He was better painting in broad strokes, whether it was thematic or textural.

I think that's why my favourite Delerue RELEASE is the stupendous 6CD box set that came out a few years ago (even though my physical copy quickly fell apart at the seams).
